Hammerfest Strøm AS intends to become a leading player on the world market in developing commercial electricity from tidal and other marine currents.

The turbine is installed,
- current from current on the net.
A milestone is set for all who are dedicated to green energy use and the development of new renewables!
We have proven its possible, and the prototype is now working as expected. Never the less, there is a slight excitement in the project, whether it will deliver as estimated?  So far, everything points in that direction.  In the next phase of The Blue Concept we will work to optimize the technology and improve the tidal stream turbine, - to be a real cost efficient alternative.
